Day 4 - Self care

Oops I lost my streak. The last weekend I spent time really taking care of my self. What I did in the weekend:
  • I watched two movies (Bad Trip, Love and Monsters)
  • Attended a friend's launch party for their new skincare product. They have some workouts lined up, so I joined a full body workout. I was wrecked by the end, but it was so worth it.
  • Slowly properly incorporating a better and consistent skincare routine (I also learned that my skin might not actually be oily! It's dehydrated, in turn my skin's reaction to it is producing more oil)
  • Went to a wash and blow dry my hair - it's my first time doing it without any reason to other than to feel good. I ended up doing a full hair treatment after seeing how clogged up my hair was. Context: The salon provides a free diagnosis of your hair condition by using UV scans to see the state of your hair. The treatment didn't solve my hair problem completely, but now I'm taking steps to taking care of it better.
 
I haven't really taken care of myself for the past few months, so this is a much needed self-care treat. You don't always need to spend this much money to treat yourself better. I did it because I haven't treated myself to something nice in a while.
It also helped to reduce my burnout and made me rethink about how to approach each week with better intention set.
Self-care routine = super important.
Setting intentions for the new week and day = super, super important.
