Day 34 - Meditation works?

I don't know how to come up with titles anymore!

I thought I could try having a relaxing Monday morning catching up with work, but boy was I wrong. Monday morning plans flung right out the window.
I had to deal with something troublesome that took up almost all my time. And it's still not even resolved yet. A bit of context - it's about the place I rented out before I moved in with my partner. I moved out in March, but there are still unresolved issues with the unit owner. This really tested my patience.
Also at the same time, how naive and how 'nice' I am. My parents lectured how I shouldn't be bullied. It's not as if I don't stand up for myself, but apparently, I need to be fierce about it too. Asian parents being Asian parents, they will fuck you up if you mess with them. I don't have that. I want to approach it in the most civil way I can with more logic. Nope, not for my parents.
So I had to deal with both my parents and this owner. Fun.
Both really tested my patience. My parents mean well, but their methods of 'educating' could be better.
I don't know if it's because of the meditation I've been doing or that I'm just become a more patient person before (or both), but whatever it is I did not have a big meltdown so yay I guess, it's a small win.
