As I'm writing this, I can slowly feel my body weaken. I think the side effects are coming.

I finally got my first dose of AZ jabbed into me this afternoon. Can you imagine I was anxious about the process of being vaccinated than the vaccination itself? I was going through all the Twitter threads of the #cucukmyAZ hashtag (Malaysians are using this hashtag to record our AstraZeneca jabs) to search for other people's experience at the vaccination center I was going to. I even took down each step. I was afraid I might screw up and miss one of the crucial steps - for example, if I don't do this, what if the system missed out of my appointment details?

Turned out (as usual) I was worried for nothing. The whole process was almost seamless and quick. I didn't even have much time to habitually open up my phone to browse Twitter because it went by that quickly. Before I knew it, it was my turn for the jab. It took less than 2 seconds for the jab. I was worried for the whole week up til that moment and it disappeared right after that. That's anxiety for you!

Another point to anxiety, 0 points to Yi Hui. I'm not bothered it by it now, but it's just something I need to constantly remind myself to worry less and focus on the present more.
