Day 53 - Fever dream

Feverish on Friday night.

I don't remember the last time I had a fever. It might have been a while back when I was in high school or something. Definitely not in the past ~5 years or so.

I don't think I actually had any fever dreams because jokes on my fever - I didn't get much sleep the first night anyway. I kept tossing and turning. I feel bad for my SO. He also woke up groggy because of me. It could have been worse if I didn't take any panadol before I slept. I didn't want to at first because I wanted to rely on my body's defence system to ward it off. My SO had to force me to, and thank goodness I did.

I woke up several times in the night. When I did wake up in the morning, I still went back to sleep again. When I did finally wake up in the morning, my fever subsided. I had only the remaining of it along with body aches and headaches. So I spent the remaining of the day resting a lot and sleeping a lot. I think I took around a 4-hour nap in the afternoon, which may be why I couldn't sleep much at all again during the second night. (I'm writing this the next day)

At least I'm well-rested and ready to get back into my routine soon.
