Wrote a thread about it! It's mainly to summarise Rowena's video:

What does your ideal morning routine look like? Visualise it.

Will you be able to maintain that routine on a daily basis? If yes, congratulations! If not, that's okay. We don't always wake up on the right side of the bed.

How do we then create a routine that we look forward to every morning?

Step 1: Identify the foundation
  • Make a list of *every* habit you've tried so far.
  • Write down what each habit made you feel in the past.
  • Score them: + (impactful), = (not great, not bad), - (can live without)
Inspired by James Clear's habit scorecard.

Step 2: Put them together, dream big dreams
• List down *your* ideal morning routine • Write them down as detailed as you can
Step 3: Dreams → Reality • Highlight the *must-have* habits that you NEED to complete every morning This helps identify what you need to accomplish during your low energy days when you wake up. It's the absolute bare minimum.

You can also create 3 routines depending on your energy too. (This one was an eye-opener) • One for high energy, one for mid energy, and one for low energy • If you wake up with high energy, go for your high energy routine • If you wake up with mid-low energy, try the low routine instead Be sure to give yourself options.

The last step is to set systems.
And the systems we can set for ourselves are: • Go to bed early • Create a wind-down routine - which is similar to creating a morning routine but for the night! Go back to the first step
