I reflected and reviewed my second quarter.
I have half the mind to skip writing about it in this 100-word writing, but I decided to go ahead anyway to write a short summary.
There are 3 key themes:
I started a writing habit to write at least 100 words every day for 100 days. I'm nearing the end now. I also have my other routines like yoga and my skincare routine. Being consistent with your habits are great, but don't overwhelm yourself. Around June, I had a few burnouts. I should be focusing on my routines more than ever, but I couldn't bring myself to still. I was still too tired.
Know your limits. Or reinvent your routines depending on your energy levels.
I went outside my comfort zone because I want to grow and improve myself. I put myself out there by doing these three things:
- Meeting and talking to new people
- Going live in front of the public (talking about conscious living in relation to fashion activism, talking about my app VSJO, talking about my other project Buttermilk)
- Launching an app
I'm a ball of nerves, but I think I'm getting better with more practice.
Ironically, I still have not gained clarity in what I want to do next. But after my first trip in April, I learned that I need to slow down and try to stop overthinking all the time. In terms of clarity, I think I'm getting closer than before. I just need to pick and do something. (Probably tapping into my creativity again!)
